It might be July but we are throwing it back to New Years Eve and a fabulous event that our dancers had the privileged to perform at. We were definitely dreaming of a White Christmas when 6 of our dancers arrived at the luxury Gstaad Palace Hotel in Switzerland. With views and scenery to die for this magical venue has the perfect combination of luxury, glamour and ambience.
2020 was set to be such a busy year, jam packed with events celebrating the turn of the century in addition to the many fabulous weddings, celebrations and corporate events that we love providing entertainment for. Who would have guessed that 5 months into the year we would have all be confined to our homes for the past 2 months?
Everyone has had, and continues to have their own journeys during this time. Here at Event Dancers UK, although so much uncertainty lies ahead for our industry with the enforced closure of the hospitality, retail and leisure sectors we have tried not to dampen our spirits too much…
Our sister company, The Vegas Show Girls came up with the idea of performing their very own lock down version of one of their high kicking dance routines, Viva Las Vegas. Featuring as many as possible of The Vegas Show Girls , they were thrilled to have 40 dancers take part performing from their homes, gardens, conservatories, living rooms and bedrooms!
The girls also wanted to put their work to good use by raising funds for The Intensive Care Society who’s work is imperative during the corona virus pandemic.
If you have been hiding under a rock for the past few months you may not know that the box office smash hit movie musical, The Greatest Showman has taken the US and UK by storm.
Inspired by the imagination of P. T. Barnum, The Greatest Showman is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business & tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation. With it’s catchy and original soundtrack following suit currently topping the album charts The Greatest Showman is proving to be an extremely popular theme for entertainment and events in 2018.
We like to move with the times here at Event Dancers UK and are thrilled to now offer our very own ‘Greatest Showman’ themed entertainment packages. From fascinating fire breathers, outstanding aerial performers, crazy contortionists and startling stilt walkers to our very own bearded lady and raucous ring master we are able to tailor make this exciting package to fit in with your event requirements.
When the Circus came to town in a recent series of Channel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother it was an excellent opportunity for us to showcase our Greatest Showman themed entertainment……
The weather may be cold and miserable outside but our fantastic male tap dancers have been turning up the heat at a one of our recent events!
Our brief for this event was to provide four of Event Dancers UK male tap dancers to perform 2 x show stopping routines at a 1920’s/Hollywood themed event. The evening was being held at the splendid Hilton London Syon Park Hotel. To make the performance even more spectacular our client enlisted the services of Britain’s Got Talent Finalists ‘The Jack Pack’ who are now a well established act in their own right embarking on UK Tours, albums and who are hugely popular on the corporate entertainment scene.
Two iconic swing songs were performed by our tap dancers and Jack Pack singer, the first performance Putting on the Ritz and the second performance the Benny Goodman big band classic, Sing Sing Sing – both perfect for the theme of the event. We are extremely proud of our fabulous tap dancers who are all at the top of their game performing at prestigious events and shows worldwide.
We were fortunate enough to capture the guys in action in their second performance in the video below – we are sure you will agree the audience were more than impressed!

Event Dancers UK dancers have now become a regular addition to the launch and finale shows of Channel 5’s Big Brother and Big Brothers Bit on the Side! With only 12 weeks since our Circus and Burlesque themed appearance on the finale show of January/February’s Celebrity Big Brother we were whisked away back down to Elstree Studios for talks with our creative team and the shows series producers for the launch of the Summer 2016 Big Brother. With the most twists and turns the programme has yet seen the new series came with a complete house and set make over with Big Brothers on the Side Studios having a complete make over also – very posh indeed!
Event Dancers UK adventures continued into May when our showgirls were off on their travels again, this time to Amsterdam.
The theme of the event was the ‘Diamond Ball’ held in the very unique surroundings of the Amsterdam Maritime Museum. The guest list was made up of a selection of very prestigious of Saudi Arabian visitors who were thrilled with Event Dancers UK performances. To fit in with their ‘Diamond’ theme, our 8 dazzling showgirls performed choreographed routines ‘Diamonds are forever’ and ‘Diamonds are a girl best friend’ which fitted the bill perfectly! Other artistes included The Diamond Show Band and an exhilarating performance from a French drumming show.
April saw Event Dancers UK dancers jet setting off to Dublin where they were invited to perform at two very prestigious events.
The first of the two events was a Great Gatsby theme event at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel which saw our Gatsby Girl dancers and vintage themed male tap dancers take to the stage with their 1920’s inspired high energy performances. Needles to say the event was a huge success and our Great Gatsby themed show left the guests shouting and cheering for more!

In March Event Dancers UK were very excited to be asked to provide our stunning Vintage showgirls to perform at a very high profile celebrities 50th birthday party in the sumptuous surroundings of London’s Rosewood Hotel. We cant say too much about this top secret celebrity soiree but we can reveal the star studded line up of guests! These included Ant and Dec, Piers Morgan, Phillip Schofield and Michael McIntyre with the highlight of the evenings entertainment (apart from Event Dancers UK!) being a solo set from Take That’s Mr Gary Barlow – now you don’t get much more ‘celeb’ than that!
The theme of the evening was ‘Vintage Glamour’ with a nod to the Rat Pack and glamorous Hollywood era which the luxurious setting of the prestigious Rosewood Hotel certainly lent itself to.
